C055D — Brake Hydraulic Circuit B Leak

Stop driving

A fault code doesn’t yet mean the unit or sensor itself is faulty: often it’s the plug and connector leading to it.

Possible causes

What you can do yourself

  1. Stop in a safe place and don’t drive any further: the unit has detected a brake leak, so the brakes may fail.
  2. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir and look for fluid traces at the wheels and under the car.
  3. Call a tow truck: you must not drive with a brake leak, even if the pedal feels normal.

The explanation comes from the error code reference in the AvtoElektrik PRO app.
